Welcome International Class of Fall
2008!
If you were unable to attend
New Student Orientation on August 6 and 7, you MUST complete several
new student requirements on your own.
The following information will help you prepare for your late arrival at
Fullerton College.
Before you
arrive in the US
If you are a transfer student who is
already in the United States, please visit the International Student
Center and complete all these steps at the same time.

Health Insurance: Purchase health
insurance BEFORE you register for classes. For your convenience, you can
enroll in Somerton
Student Insurance on-line. Once you have enrolled, the ISC will be
notified and confirmation of your coverage will be noted in your file.
Read our health insurance policy and
enroll on-line.

Register for a MINIMUM of 12 units. We suggest that
you register for some classes online before you arrive at Fullerton
College. Review our
registration instructions.
Math/English: If you have not yet taken the placement tests, you
cannot enroll in Math or English until after you take the tests and see
a counselor.
After you arrive in the
US

Immigration Forms:
If you have recently entered the US, bring your passport & I-20 to the ISC Staff so we can make copies for your
file.

Assessment Tests: Take Math and English placement tests to determine your correct course
placement, if necessary. Review the
English and
Math
sample tests.
The Assessment Center is located in room 513 (building 500).

Academic Appointment: Meet with the International Counselor to select and
confirm your classes. Call 714-992-7580 to make an appointment.

Social Events: Get to know the ISC Staff and other Fullerton
College students at our
Welcome Week
Events in August 2008.

Late Orientation: Friday,
September 5 from 12:00 -
1:00 PM. Meet at the International Student Center, room 220.
