conditional admission
Although Fullerton College does not have an intensive English program, we offer alternative academic options to students who need more English instruction before becoming full-time college students.

We have partnered with language schools in order to offer "conditional admission" to Fullerton College. Students are invited to submit all application materials to Fullerton College except their TOEFL scores.

If the student meets all other international admission requirements, Fullerton College will offer a letter of conditional admission. Then, after a student reaches the required English level by attending a partner language school, he/she will receive full admissions to Fullerton College.

Conditional admission helps students plan in advance for their academic future in America. A letter of conditional admission may provide further support for an F-1 visa application.

Currently, we have conditional admission agreements with the following language programs:

	California State University Fullerton's American Language Program is located on the CSU Fullerton campus, less than 10 minutes from Fullerton College. ALP offers ESL and TOEFL preparation courses. Language Systems, International College of English has several campuses in the Southern California area including the Fullerton campus, less than 10 minutes from Fullerton College. LSI offers ESL, TOEFL, and University preparation courses. Kaplan English Programs are located internationally and throughout the United States with several centers in Southern California. They offer several levels of ESL and TOEFL courses. Fullerton College is a part of their University Placement Service.

Once students arrive in the US and begin coursework at a language program, they have the option to enroll part-time at Fullerton College.

Students must be enrolled full-time at an approved language program, have a valid I-20, and be in good F-1 status. To enroll, students must complete the part-time application process.
