Long-term Accommodations

Fullerton College international students experience a variety of housing accommodations. For those who do not live with family, many will select homestay and live with an American family during their first semester.

Once they feel comfortable in Fullerton and make friends, students often move into apartments with other students. To save money, most students will share a bedroom with a roommate. For example, 4 students will live in a 2-bedroom apartment. Other students prefer the college experience of a dorm.

You can find homestay, apartment, and roommate information in the International Student Center on our Housing Resources Board and Binder.

Homestay
One of the best ways to improve your English and learn about American customs is to stay with an American family while studying here in the US.

Fullerton College works in partnership with two homestay programs that you can choose from: Homestay Services International (HSI) and International Student Placements (ISP). Each program offers great services so be sure to review their applications and decide which program and its associated costs works best for you. Select one of the options below:

1) Download the Homestay Services International (HSI) information and application form here: Word PDF

***Once you have completed the HSI form, please fax or mail the bottom portion to the Fullerton College ISC  and we will forward it to Homestay Services International. For questions, email homestay@homestayservices.com

2) Click here to download the International Student Placements (ISP) information and application form or apply online

    Go to
    http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/hhh/.

  • Roommates.com is another great search engine to find roommates in the Fullerton area
  • You can also fill out a Roommate Inquiry Form at the ISC office and/or search through completed forms which can be found on the Housing Resources Board.
