  2. Application Deadlines
Summer session begins May 27. International applications and all required documents must be submitted the following dates:

    supplemental application forms

  3. English Proficiency
Summer classes are intensive short-term courses and are often more difficult. Therefore, the TOEFL requirement for summer session is 550 (PBT) or 79 (iBT) for first-time US college students. If you are transferring from a US college, the TOEFL requirement will remain at 500/61.

  4. Enrollment Requirement
Students who are admitted to the summer session will receive an I-20 from Fullerton College. In order to meet US Immigration's "full-time enrollment" requirement, summer students are required to enroll in and complete a minimum of 3 units during the summer session. Three units is generally one class. The International Counselor will help you select your summer course(s).

  5. Orientation
All summer session students must attend New Student Orientation. There you will meet other international students and ISC Staff, review the regulations of the F-1 Student Visa and Fullerton College academic programs and policies.

DO NOT APPLY AS A FULL-TIME SUMMER STUDENT IF you are a current F1 student at another school and do not plan to transfer and receive a Fullerton College I-20 for the Fall semester. Students who will continue to attend their current school in the Fall are considered part-time students.
